Assignment 2: Define History

In our  assignment 2, we were tasked to create  an infographic poster based on a period of time of our choosing on its fashion background and influence. I was assigned with the time 1980 to indulge in. 

Week 5

Unfortunately I had missed the first week de to my sudden drop of health. I resumed the assignment by asking my friends for the updates.

Week 6

I had started brainstorming on the year 1980's but could not find an aspect that I would dive into with interest. Thankfully during tutorials my lecturer had stepped in and helped me gain a direction what aspect I would like too focus on. I chose to dive into artist who created their brand of style that impacted our fashion till today. 

I started looking into stars such as Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, Pet Benatar, Freddie Mercury and Rick Astley.

Week 7

I officially was done with editing my poster and had successfully submitted it on time.

I included the top trends in the 1980's and gave a brief history of its fashion. The 1980's was filled experimentation fashion and people  expressing themselves in  various ways. I introduces each artist based on year accordingly following the order of time. At the end I gave my overall reflection of the year and what it has brought to fashion.
